Couture Cu-Ag-Au Property

High-grade copper system centred on a 12 km north-south magnetic shear corridor in the Baleine Lithotectonic Domain, Northern Quebec. Despite exceptional surface grades, the property has seen little systematic exploration — offering significant discovery upside.

Geology & setting

The Couture Property is located approximately 100 km northeast of Schefferville, Quebec, within the Nunavik region of Northern Quebec. The property is remote and accessible only by helicopter or float plane from Schefferville, which provides regional infrastructure including an airport and service providers.

The project lies within the Baleine Lithotectonic Domain of the Southeastern Churchill Province and features a 12 km long north-south magnetic shear corridor that transects amphibolitized volcanic rocks. This structural setting is a well-established control on high-grade copper mineralisation in the Churchill Province.

Mineralisation occurs as sulphide ± quartz veins hosted in amphibolite. The mineral assemblage includes digenite, chalcocite, and bornite, often accompanied by epidote-hematite alteration — a style consistent with structurally-controlled, epigenetic copper deposits. Despite exceptional historical grab sample grades, the property has seen little systematic exploration or drilling to date.

Key mineralisation highlights

Exceptional surface grades — 65% Cu, 420 g/t Ag, 0.95 g/t Au
Historical selective grab samples from the property have returned values of up to 65% copper, 420 g/t silver, and 0.95 g/t gold — indicating an exceptionally high-grade copper sulphide mineralisation style at surface that warrants systematic follow-up.
AI score >0.8 at Couture Nord & Lac Uni showings
Both the Couture Nord and Lac Uni showings received AI prospectivity scores greater than 0.8 — placing them in the top tier of the model's output and independently confirming the geological controls identified through field work.
12 km structural corridor — 6 new targets identified
The AI model identified six additional discontinuous targets (CC1–CC6) along the main structural trend beyond the known showings, plus a strong target at Grand Rosoy 1 to the north — significantly expanding the exploration footprint.

Exploration plan & budget

Model output
Couture Nord and Lac Uni prospectivity scores >0.8 — the highest scores in the model's output. Six additional corridor targets (CC1–CC6) and Grand Rosoy 1 identified for systematic follow-up.
Phase 1 — C$82,000
Data compilation, reprocessing of airborne geophysics, and field mapping and sampling to ground-truth all AI-identified targets along the structural corridor.
Phase 2 — C$1,309,000
