Geology & setting

The Bellechasse Gold Project is located within the Dunnage Zone of the Northern Appalachian Fold Belt, specifically in the Beauceville Formation of the Magog Group — a geological setting that hosts Intrusion-Related Gold Systems (IRGS) and Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide (VMS) mineralization across Southern Quebec.

The property spans two main claim blocks covering 5,023 hectares, strategically positioned 75 km southeast of Quebec City and 45 km northeast of Saint-Georges. Excellent infrastructure including main highways and commercial road networks makes this one of the most logistically accessible properties in the Birch Cove portfolio.

The structural geology features targets concentrated along the flanks of the St. Victor Syncline and northeast-trending shear zones — known controls on high-grade quartz-sulphide stockwork veins in the Bellechasse belt. The northeastern claim block is immediately adjacent to the Bellechasse-Timmins deposit, which hosts high-grade intercepts up to 103 g/t Au.

Key mineralisation highlights

Champagne deposit — 272,158 t at 2.13 g/t Au (on-property)
VMS-style mineralization at the on-property Champagne deposit. Historical exploration has defined a non-NI 43-101 resource of 272,158 tonnes at 2.13 g/t Au, 2.68% Zn, 0.40% Cu, and 19.88 g/t Ag. Phase 2 drilling is designed to bring this to NI 43-101 compliance.
Panet Zone Nord — 6.6 g/t Au over 1.5 m
Located approximately 1.3 km north of the Champagne deposit, historical drilling at the Panet Zone Nord intersected 6.6 g/t Au over 1.5 metres within a silicified shear zone — indicating the gold system extends along structural corridors beyond the known deposit area.
Adjacent to Bellechasse-Timmins — up to 103 g/t Au
The northeastern claim block is immediately adjacent to the Bellechasse-Timmins deposit, which reports high-grade intercepts up to 103 g/t Au over 1 metre and a large historical resource. The geological continuity between the two properties is a key strategic advantage.
Note: Historical resource estimates are not current NI 43-101 compliant resources and should be treated as an indication of potential mineralization only.

AI prospectivity modelling & recommended work

Model output
5 new priority targets (Belle-1 to Belle-5) identified along the structural syncline, associated with favourable host rocks. AI analysis of 500 geoscience layers generated a heat map of prospectivity scores identifying areas with high probability for gold and pathfinder elements (As, Cu, Zn).
Phase 1 — underway
Data compilation, 3D modelling of all historical drilling at Champagne, and AI target assessment to refine drill locations across all five new targets.
Phase 2 — planned
3,000 m diamond drilling program focused on confirming historical resources at Champagne to NI 43-101 standards and testing the newly identified AI targets along the St. Victor Syncline.
